What an incredible organization we supported during September. The United States War Dogs Association exists to provide a lifetime of practical support to Military Working Dogs; their handlers and adopted families. We were so happy to provide food, blankets and supplies to this organization as well as a check for $1,000. Thank you to our loyal supporters~ so grateful!
What an exciting month!! With the start of the new school year, we wanted to support literacy and a love of reading. We gathered our troops to collect books, raise funds and purchase 2 Little Free Libraries. We gave these to 2 Title 1 schools here in Tampa. The schools were overjoyed and so grateful to be able to share these libraries with their students. Thank you to everyone who supported this initiative.
As all of us at Kids 4 A Cause love nature we decided to support our precious wildlife during the month of July. We have always placed a high value on conserving our environment and the creatures that inhabit it. We had an overwhelming response to this project and we so grateful for all the help we received. We were able to purchase 7 high tech cameras to help monitor and track endangered species.
June gave us the opportunity to support 2 fantastic organizations! We supported Little Eden, a home for mentally and physically challenged children and adults. We provided necessary supplies of cleaning products, sanitary items and toiletries. Kairos is a home that takes in people that have experienced significant trauma. We brought a little sunshine to them by donating food, snacks and treats.
What a fabulous month we had!!!! In preparation for the summer break we decided to do a cereal box drive! So many kids rely on school meals and over the summer holidays many kids go hungry. We teamed up with St Lawrence, Mathnasium of New Port Richey/Trinity and our local supporters. At the end of the month we had a cereal box domino!!!! In total we had close to 400 cereal boxes!!! And, our domino was awesome!!!!
Our biggest event of the year so far!!! We teamed up with Cardiac Kids Foundation for a Top Golf experience like no other!!! We sponsored the great men and women from the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office. They were so grateful for the team building experience. We also treated our loyal supporters to a great day out. Thank you so much to everyone who attended!!!
This month was dedicated to our active troops overseas! As you know, we hold a special place in our hearts for those honorable people serving this great country.
We are so excited to be teaming up with the Stano Foundation!!! Their President, Paula Stano has her son serving, so this project is very personal.
The Stano Foundation is an organization dedicated to supporting the troops of all branches, both Active Duty and Veterans.
They are best known for their personalized care packages. The Stano Foundation puts the care into care packages.
We were able to collect and pack over 50 care packages! We were thrilled to be able to send some love to those missing home!
We were also so happy to receive the "challenge Coin" for going above and beyond to help others.
February was a truly spectacular month! We teamed up with boy scout troop 46 for their "scouting for food" drive. The result - over 2,500 items of food were collected! We had to hire a truck to deliver all of this. Needless to say, the lovely volunteers at Oldsmar Cares were overjoyed with this massive donation of food! As always thank you everyone for your generosity.
We supported an incredible organization called Celebrate Birthdays!
This organization is on a mission to ensure that every Foster Child and all children, regardless of personal or financial circumstances, has the opportunity to celebrate their Birthday and receive a present! Every child deserves to have a special day to call their own.
Celebrate Birthdays makes it their mission to fulfill that responsibility by ensuring that every child gets to experience a Happy Birthday!
Celebrate Birthdays is a Non-Profit Organization dedicated to reaching families who are experiencing extreme financial difficulties and are unable to provide even the smallest birthday celebration.
We managed to sponsor 20 children this month and gave each of them a birthday to remember.
